Lila Coil, MA, LPCC, ATR-P

THERAPIST (Arvada, CO)

Hi, I’m Lila. I work with men who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity questions, and the desire to feel more confident and grounded in their lives. Many of the men I support are thoughtful, sensitive, or feel like they’ve spent a long time trying to hold things together on their own. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

Together, we look at the different parts of your life that shape how you feel — relationships, family expectations, work stress, and the ways you’ve learned to cope over time. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, reflect honestly, and begin to build a stronger sense of self-trust and clarity about the life you want.

My approach is collaborative, empowering, and creative. While conversation is often central to the work, I also integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and creative practices when helpful to support deeper insight and emotional processing. I believe therapy works best when it meets you where you are and helps you develop practical skills while also making room for curiosity, growth, and meaning.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy painting, spending time in nature, practicing yoga, traveling, and connecting with loved ones

  • “Kendall helped me take a bold step towards a more loving, pain-free existence. Throughout our session, he sat with me, at times comforted me, and gave me courage when facing the unknown. I’m sure he would be just as adept and gifted at holding space for other men. I’ve known Kendall for more than 15 years now and find him to be of the highest character. He is gentle, kindhearted, and conducts himself with admirable poise. In connecting me with other healers, Kendall has helped guide me on a life-changing journey that has forever transformed my life. I am a better human because of him, and would recommend him to you as highly as I have ever recommended anyone.”

  • I was very hesitant to go to therapy. It wasn’t something that had a positive connotation to me personally. But Kendall changed my perspective. He was easy to talk to. He was an attentive listener and I was able to work through some issues that had plagued me for years. I’d highly recommend him!

  • “The space he held gave the opportunity for me to be completely vulnerable, and truly share what was on my mind/what I was going through with no fear of judgement. Doing so allowed me to put my guard down and realize a lot of what I was going through was fairly common. The impact that had allowed me to be more gentle & compassionate with myself.

If you’re looking for individuals who are loving, authentic, supportive, and truly invested in helping people then look no further than these beautiful humans!”

  • “Kendall and Sophie are the real deal. Two of the most trauma-informed, intentional, integrated mental health providers in the area. If you are looking for a holistic approach to mental health that actually makes a lasting impact and drastically improves your overall wellbeing, I cannot recommend them enough! As a fellow therapist in the mental health community, I love referring clients and peers to their services. Colorado is lucky to have them!”

    J.G.

  • “I’ve had an extremely positive experience working with Kendall. He understands the intricacies of psychedelic medicine and is extremely well informed on how to process and release trauma. Overall very professional with kind.”

    J.K.

  • “I worked with Kendall at Madrega Wellness for about 24 months, over which time I did about 18 KAP sessions. Now, about 3 years after my first session, I find myself much more consistently balanced and grounded in my life, and all of the issues for which I was initially interested in KAP - anxiety, relationships, health, and more - have improved significantly, and this improvement has sustained since I stopped KAP a year ago. This process, with Kendall's guidance, has truly helped me better align my life with my values and priorities. I can't recommend Kendall strongly enough.”
