  • Kendall Schauermann, MA, LPCC

    FOUNDER & LEAD THERAPIST (Denver, CO)

    Kendall specializes in working with men who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and a longing for deeper meaning in their lives. He is particularly passionate about supporting fathers of young children, men experiencing loss, and those seeking to redefine masculinity in a healthier, more authentic way.

    Kendall’s therapeutic style is deeply informed by his background in contemplative psychotherapy and his own personal healing journey. He holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology program at Naropa University, where he trained in mindfulness-based, relational therapy grounded in Eastern wisdom traditions.

    In addition to his talk therapy work, Kendall is trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through the Transpersonal Research Institute of Psychotherapeutic Psychedelics and other psychedelic-assisted therapy programs. He considers this work deeply sacred and approaches it with great care, presence, and humility.

    He is the proud father of an 8-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son, and he brings this lived experience into his work with fathers and families.

  • Joel Ciarochi, MD, MBA

    CHIEF OF OPERATIONS

    Assisting with Madrega’s mission to support therapeutic healing for adults through the use of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Joel brings deep medical knowledge of and significant experience in this approach. His experience ranges from ketamine's use for general anesthesia and sedation to its administration for mental health treatment, including methods as complex as electroconvulsive shock therapy for major depression.

    Nicole Butler, MA

    THERAPIST (Denver & Colorado Springs, CO)

    Nicole Butler is a social work practitioner who supports adult men navigating emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and identity exploration. She offers a grounded, nonjudgmental space where clients can reconnect with themselves, process long-held patterns, and begin embodying new ways of being. Nicole understands that vulnerability often carries a history of silence for men, and she honors the courage it takes to show up and heal.

    Currently pursuing her Master of Social Work online at the University of Oklahoma, Nicole draws on trauma-informed approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and her experience with Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) to support clients working through depression, grief, and disconnection. Her work is deeply influenced by earth-based spirituality, which invites a reconnection with the body, land, and cycles of transformation.

    Nicole’s holistic lens is shaped by her background in NGO program design, conflict resolution, and peer counseling, along with a postgraduate certificate in world religion and diplomacy from George Mason University. As a step-parent to two adult children, she brings lived experience to her work with family dynamics, aging, and intergenerational healing.

    Whether supporting clients through existential questions, relationship challenges, or moments of personal awakening, Nicole meets each person with respect, curiosity, and care.

  • Elana Cohen, MSW, LCSW

    THERAPIST (Denver, CO)

    Elana Cohen brings over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. With licenses in Colorado, Utah, and Massachusetts, she offers a grounded, trauma-informed approach to men navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, fatherhood, and family dynamics.

    Elana draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential techniques, and positive psychology to help men reconnect with their values, manage emotional overwhelm, and build more functional, fulfilling lives. Her background in wilderness therapy, education, and intensive outpatient programs gives her a practical and compassionate lens for guiding clients through transitions and healing long-standing patterns.

  • Victoria Mancinelli, MSW

    THERAPIST (Denver, CO)

    With a background in both nonprofit work and education, Victoria brings warmth, presence, and real-world insight to her therapy practice. She has years of experience supporting neurodiverse and cognitively diverse individuals, helping them embrace their uniqueness and navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

    Victoria earned her degree in psychology from the University of South Florida, with concentrations in Women & Gender Studies and African American Studies. Her integrative approach draws from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), somatic practices, and relational therapy.

    As a mother of two, Victoria also offers grounded, compassionate support to parents, especially those navigating complex family dynamics or raising neurodivergent children.

    At Madrega Wellness, Victoria creates a space where men can explore identity, heal from stress and trauma, and reconnect with themselves and those around them.

  • Paige Davies, MSW, CSWC

    THERAPIST (Denver, CO)

    Paige is a warm, grounded therapist who believes that authentic connection is the heart of meaningful healing. With a background in clinical and community-based settings, she brings over five years of experience working with individuals and families through trauma, anxiety, and generational patterns.

    At Madrega Wellness, Paige supports men in reconnecting with their inner experience, especially those who may feel disconnected from their emotions, overwhelmed by past trauma, or unsure how to break cycles they’ve inherited. She works from a holistic, body-aware lens, helping clients rebuild trust in themselves by listening to the wisdom of the body and developing a deeper sense of emotional clarity.

    Paige draws on somatic and body-based approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and relational work. She also has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and is passionate about creating space where clients can feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

    Paige holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She welcomes men who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their story, shift long-standing patterns, and move toward more connected, intentional living.

  • Sara Galaso, LMSW

    Sara Galaso, MSW, LMSW

    THERAPIST (Dallas, TX)

    Sara is a compassionate therapist who creates a safe, grounded space for men to process big emotions, explore life transitions, and strengthen their relationships. With a deep belief in the power of authentic self-connection, she helps clients navigate grief, loss, and identity shifts with care and clarity.

    Sara earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in children and families. Her clinical background includes years of intensive work with migrant and refugee families, and she brings a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to every client relationship. Sara has specialized training in grief and loss, infertility, faith deconstruction, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and she is also trained in play therapy.

    Fluent in Spanish, Sara offers bilingual services for Spanish-speaking individuals and families. As a mother to three teenage daughters, she brings lived experience and a relational lens to her work with parents and caregivers, as well as those exploring generational healing and emotional resilience.

    At Madrega Wellness, Sara supports men in finding meaning through life’s challenges—and reconnecting with themselves, their families, and their inner strength.

  • Darlene Bills, MSW, LMSW

    THERAPIST (Dallas, TX)

    Darlene brings deep compassion and clinical expertise to her work with men navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. With a background in psychology and Christian counseling, she holds a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Military and Veterans Mental Health from the University of Southern California.

    Darlene has extensive experience supporting adults (including veterans, refugees, and individuals from Middle Eastern backgrounds) who are facing emotional overwhelm, identity challenges, intimate partner violence, or the lingering effects of trauma. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to help clients move at their own pace, cultivating self-awareness, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.

    Her therapeutic toolkit includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and grief and loss therapy. She also draws from solution-focused and body-informed approaches, and has experience supporting those recovering from substance use, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

    As a mother of four and grandmother of thirteen, Darlene brings a deeply human and intergenerational lens to her work - supporting men who are fathers, partners, sons, or simply seeking to become more fully themselves.

  • Sundi Crosswhite Shelton, MSW, LMSW

    THERAPIST (Atlanta, GA)

    Sundi is an empathetic and experienced psychotherapist who brings over eight years of clinical and social work experience to her practice. At Madrega Wellness, she creates a safe, grounded space where men can explore the emotional layers beneath anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions - without judgment or pressure.

    With advanced training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mind–body practices, Sundi designs personalized treatment plans that support clients in reconnecting with themselves and moving forward with clarity and purpose. Her approach is deeply integrative and draws from somatic parts work, EMDR, and holistic healing practices.

    Sundi holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from UNC Chapel Hill. She is also a certified yoga instructor and weaves in mindfulness, body awareness, and nervous system support to promote lasting emotional resilience.

    Whether working with men navigating fatherhood, grief, identity shifts, or unresolved trauma, Sundi brings a steady, compassionate presence and a deep belief in every client’s ability to heal.
